Brad Johnson recently joined AFDigital as a Senior Marketing Cloud Consultant & Managed Services Product Manager. Having worked in software for almost the entirety of his career, he started out in Digital Marketing as Unica’s Engagement Manager, helping clients implement their cross-channel marketing, analytics, social, and asset management solutions. He then joined ExactTarget, the Email Marketing platform later acquired by Salesforce, as an Implementation Consultant – a jack-of-all-trades consultant responsible for everything from solution design and implementation to project management, campaign management and pre-sales consulting.
Over the years with ExactTarget, and then Salesforce, Brad worked in various roles as the company evolved into what it is today. His roles included being a Project Manager, Program Manager, Managing Consultant, and Marketing Cloud Consultant. After his stint with Salesforce, he worked with a couple of ex-Salesforce executives in a Marketing Cloud consultancy they had started, again wearing several hats, each leveraging his experience and skills from prior roles and companies – as a Project Manager, PMO Lead, Program Manager, and Marketing Cloud Consultant.
As a Senior Marketing Cloud Consultant & Managed Services Product Manager for AFDigital, Brad spends most of his days working closely with the DX and Project Teams, as well as in workshops with customers, helping them design and implement awesome solutions that fully leverage their Salesforce Marketing Cloud investment. He also participates in ideation sessions, both joint and internally, laying out roadmaps and providing customers with a vision of where they can be, in the short-, medium- and long-term.
Bringing the AFDigital Team and its customers together seamlessly into an awesome ongoing “super-team” by streamlining processes, reducing friction points, standardising documentation, developing skills, and enabling everyone involved is something that excites Brad. His deep involvement with customers provides him with the real-world feedback and data that he’ll leverage when he puts his TeamX Managed Services Product Management hat on.
Having worked with Paul Cheing before, and hearing how positive he has been about his experience with AFDigital, Brad is expecting to work with a really great group of people, as well as with some really great companies, helping them to get the most out of their Salesforce investment. Wearing two complimentary hats will be an exciting challenge and one that he’s really looking forward to.
AFDigital is always looking for innovative ways to enhance the Customer experience, and I expect that contributing to this will be a key aspect of my role as both a product manager and a Marketing Cloud consultant.
Welcome to AFDigital, Brad!
